Procedure for Admission

Admission will be strictly on the basis of merit. The selected candidates must get themselves admited on the specified date of admission, failing which they will forfit their seats.
Candidates seeking admission to the college shall have to apply through filled up forms available with the prospectus.
After scrutiny of the application form and the necessary testimonials, eligible candidates will provisionally admitted to the course and Roll Number will be issued.
(Candidates are strongly advised NOT to attached original mark-sheet.)
HOW TO APPLY

Application Forms and Prospectus may be obtained from the LBC Academy, Nagaon on payment of Rs. 150/- (Rupees one hundred fifty only.) for the session 2014-15.
CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION

Admission of student can be cancelled if at any stage it is found that he/she has furnished incorrect information or has suppressed facts to secure admission or has indulged in unlawful activities. If any dispute arises out of such REFUSAL/CANCELLATION, the decision of the Principal is final.

They shall have to produce the documents in original at the time of admission & the form shuld be submitted with the attested copies of the following documents :-

Admission fees Rs. 8,000/- (Incl. 2 Semester)
Monthly fees Rs. 700/- P.M. (For 12 Months)

For B.Com (Major)
Admission fees Rs. 8,000/- (Incl. 2 Semester)
Monthly fees Rs. 800/- P.M. (For 12 Months)

* Final examination Fees will be notified seperately.
NOTE

** Student who are not clear their fees within the time as specified will be changes @ Rs. 100/- P.M. as late fine but same can be continue upto maximum for two months only. If fees are not clear after the grace period than his name will be struck off from the register and he/she may not be able to continue the classes and may not be appear in the examination.
** REFUND FEES: The course fees and other deposited by admitted students will be not refunded under any circumstances.

College Uniform & Issue of Identity Card

BOYS : Pink shirt, Black Pant with Blue Tie & Black Shoes.
Girls : Pink coloured Salwar Kameez with Blue Churni.
For B.Com.
BOYS : Pink shirt, Black Pant with Tie (Black and Pink cross) & Black Shoes.
Girls : Pink coloured Salwar Kameez with Blue Churni.

* Tie will be purchased from LBC Academy.
* No students will be allow to enter in the college premises or attend classe without the prescribed uniform mention above.
* IDENTITY CARD- The students will be issued IDENTITY CARD. Students are required to carry identity cards in the college and during the Examination.

Attendance

As per the regulation of LBCA, it is mandatory for student to have a minimum of eighty percent (80%) attendance in each of the subjects in order to be eligible to appear for any examination.
  • The remaining twenty percent margin is provided to the student for absence due to ill health and other personal reasons for which perior approval is to be obtained from the institution.
  • However LBCA expects all the students to have a minimum of 80% attendence in each of th esubjects.
  • Absenteeism in the institute's tests and other exams will be viewed seriously.
  • RULES AND REGULATION

    Every student seeking admission to Lachit Barphookan Commerce Academy candidates shall give an undertaking in the prescribed by LBCA ordinances as follows -
    "Any form of intimidation, wrongful confinement or causing physical harm or injury, or annoyance by playing vulgar jokes or using abusive language touching upon any community, religion or faith in the pretext to conducting initiation ceremony of the junior students by the senior or section/group of students against any individual or group of students will come under ragging"

      GENERAL
    1. Prossession of objectionable materials will viewed seriously.
    2. Use of mobile phones within the college campus is strictly prohibited at all time.
    3. It is however excepted that all students would be formally dressed when there attending guest lecture, representing the institution in an out side event.
    4. It is mandatory for all students to attend Institute examination time to time if they are absent from the examination then they to produce Proper certificate from proper authority as notified seperately by the academy, other wise they will have to bear fine as decided by the institute.
    5. Students are to refrain from any anti-social activities, which will be viewed serously.
    6. Respect for the employees of the institution is expected from students.
    7. Indiscipline behaviour in the campus, damage to property in the institution will be liable for purnished and penalty.
    8. Fees and all other dues to the institution are to be paid before due dates, promptly without remainder.
    9. Students undertake to abide by all the reules and regulations of the institution, which may be framed from time to time.
    10. For-non-following the above mention rules & regulations, the students may be expelled from the institution or may be punishable as per decision of the managemtn.
    11. Students involve in ragging shal be heald with firmly by the college authority if necessary police will be called in. Ragging is strickly prohibited.
